Nothing in The south east can touch Caliente..
This Club just exudes Style, and Elegance..
We live in the Tampa area and frequent this club often..The crowd at Caliente lately has been younger than you would expect at a Nudest resort..The club is very lifestyle friendly with a new Manager having taken over who has actually met with 60 or so local Swingers.. The night Club Rocks on weekends with some of the hottest cpls in Fl..The weekdays are a bit slower but are expected to pick up as the weather turns warmer and summer approaches..
This is a great way to spend a weekend,a week ,a life time... Best kept Secret in FL today |

| Caliente is NOT set up for the LifeStyle. They have it set up for the more elite, upscale nudist. When on the dance floor, don't be touching your spouses butt, that is a BIG NONO....The place is absolutely beautiful and the first year, yes it rocked, but things have changed. It hasn't rocked in a long while, and when it does, it ends early and everyone goes to Paradise for a "REAL" rocking good time. |

We joined Caliente 1 year ago and in the early spring of 2004 the resort opened up their club house and the place took off. Every holiday weekend is booked full and Sat night Cal throws one of the best disco parties in the bay area.
CALIENTE
- is clothing optional everywhere except around in the pool. You must be nude in the pool or have a good excuse to wear a thong/wrap around the pool. This may change over time as several other rules/guidelines have already changed. It really depends on what the members want.
- has great swing parties, some PL parties have moved over to Cal
- some may compared it to Hedo III (eg. more soft)
- is very big, new and still growing, more expansion is in the works. You could go weeks without seeing your friends unless you had a plan to meet somewhere, lol. It takes a ton of folks to fill up the space
- clubhouse just open in March 2004. There is some minor pressure to dress to impress at the clubhouse. That is part of the South Florida with a twist of Las Vegas splash that causes this pressure. We view this as a good thing but but will change over time we are sure. Holiday weekends will be big dress up themes we be our guess
- alot of PL employees and members now go to Cal. Especially the ones that wanted a change or had too many politics at PL
- a minority of folks belong to both resorts (like us we love the diversity in both resorts)
- is like Disney world, Las Vegas, Hedo III and the Ritz Carlton with a bit of the West built in...all wrapped in one resort location
- some folks promote Cal as a family resort, however, we know a ton of swingers (with and without kids) who love Cal. We do feel like we are being watched by security when we go to Cal. We have not figured out the whole place yet. Every week some new changes at Cal, most changes for a good reason and positive
- Most every Sat night at Cal is a very hot sexy crowd, better than PL on Sat nights
- Holiday weekends are very hot times in the pool and club house. It remains to be seen how Halloween and New Years will be this year but they both were very hot last year and that was without the clubhouse and multiple bars in 2003.
Most of the above are our perception and not always facts. Bottom line, if you like a big growing town with a new look and feel then join Cal, however if you like a smaller and more cozy feel then join PL.
If nudity is an issue for you then until Cal is more relaxed about clothing optional in and around the pool you might start with PL. Since PL as zero pressure and you can always wear what you want when you want. Then again, no one has yet to question why we are wearing what we want to wear when we attend Cal. Some rules make no sense to us.
Overtime it will be easier to make a decision on Cal vs PL but it will take a couple of
years for things to play out. Mostly it depends on who joins each resort and what the membership wants. Why do folks still go to Hedo II, because they like it and they have great memories there is our guess.
However, the best choice is to make your own decision based upon what you want. What we want is to belong to both since we are local. One thing is for sure when we spend a weekend in Paradise we feel like we have escaped the real world. When we visit Cal we always have a great time but it does not feel like we have been in Paradise, lol. We need more time and memories at Cal to get that same care free feeling. Then again it takes us awhile to get comfortable in a new surrounding, especially when the resort and membership is all new too.
