We had been members of the palace for 5 years; things were great for a long time. Then a management change occurred. The new manager treats the long term members as though they are simply income instead of welcome guests. The bathrooms were unavailable for close to 6 weeks.
Many of the long term members quit going because they felt incredibly unwelcome, even when they were willing to give the new management a chance. The website lost its charm and enjoyment almost instantly. The forums became nothing more than joke forums, the manager bitching and yelling at long term members, and ads for single guys.
Speaking of single guys on several instances there have been packs of single men roaming and taunting members playing on the "palace side." The parking lot has become a place to get harassed if you have to walk even slightly to get to the club. Not safe or welcoming as it once was.
In my opinion it's gone down hill fast in the last 3 months and there's no hope of recovery. It's on its way to becoming just another meat market with no "family" to keep it going. Good riddance to the palace we won't ever be returning.

We visited the club several times over that past year and also couple times few years back. On Friday nights we did not have to pay to get in as long as we got there before a certain time. Saturdays there is a reasonable priced entry fee before 9PM. But our advice is? not to waste your time on Fridays!
We have met some decent looking and friendly people that are truly swingers at the club but most that we met are want-to-be, complete bed jumpers, or (unfriendly clicks that may say hi just so they can say they did). So you can spend a lot of weekends and time weeding through this.
Things we like:
Clubs sound system is ok.
They play a good variety of music.
Dance floor is nice and big enough for the crowd. They have a dancer pole that can be fun too.
It?s conveniently located in Tampa so if things are not swinging well you can head out to a regular club and still have some fun without wasting your entire weekend.
Things we dislike:
The club is in serious need of remodeling upgrades. Carpet throughout the club is very nasty and stained. Smells bad too. Tile or vinyl floors would be a much better option so they could clean the place better. (They are making plenty of money and there is no reason for this to continue without raising the fees)
Don?t even think about hanging out in the back where the pool tables are as the area is just dungy looking. Tacky stained red shag carpet. No matter what anyone tells you on the website the club needs help in this area. It reminds you of one of those lonely little bars on the corner nobody goes to unless they are completely trashed or a lonely regular.
The pool tables would be a great place to hang out and meet people if some effort was put into this area to make it better. Because of the way this area is the crowd that stays in this section of the club tends to be complementary to its condition. So you?re either stuck in the front with all the clicks, sitting at a table by yourself, hounded at the bar by single guys, or in the back with the riffraff. There is no happy balance. Maybe a see through window in the pool table are would be a great way of opening it up ? that way neither side feels ?box in?.
The themed rooms are dungy looking. They use regular mattresses instead of marine or RV style mattresses and try and cover them with plastic and sheets that continue to fall off if you?re doing anything on them at all. The reason this is bad news is think about it. When somebody completes a session sure the sheets are changed but because they are just regular mattresses and not vinyl, now imagine what seeps into the cloth over and over again and you get share someone else?s funk&--61516;
The food is absolutely is not very good. It is hard to figure out what some of the stuff even is. Make sure you eat before getting there.
Most of the games with the exception of the pool tables don?t even work or are rubbish. We think this is an important part of a club because it allows couples to be interactive with each other.
Way to many clicks! Groups of people tend to sit around at tables and mainly stick to themselves. They may say hi every now and then but it?s the kind of hi that really is not sincere and clearly many people are into their own crowds. You would think if you?re that tight with your same crowd why not just have a house party.
The club does very little in this area to help people interact. No fun games no nothing. The closest thing they do is have a contest toward the end of the night on Saturdays and that once again is cheered on by various clicks before they are ready to head to the other side like sheep. Would it not make more sense to do different things throughout the night to get people moving and having fun not just at the end of the night?
Crowd many times tends to be approaching the senior age group. No offence we will all be at this point some time. You will clearly need to fish this hole many times to catch any keepers.
We have been there on theme nights where only a hand full of people even dressed up. Then what is the point. The point I guess is simply marketing.
Many of the people that post profiles on the website including the club hosts unfortunately have photos are clearly taken 10 plus years ago when you actually see them in person. Not cool in our book..! (Use Recent Photos People and Not Glamour Shots) be real, a good photographer can make anyone look good..!
We don?t like having to pay the same price we would pay for a drink in a regular bar for a setup made with our own liquor. Especially if we paid a fee to enter the club. $1 setup charge should be more then sufficient and we are the type that has no problem tipping every time we get drink. The club will squeeze the money out of you slowly from the time you enter until you leave. So they are making the money why not put some back into the place.
In conclusion, the club is still a good place to meet people you have met online for a reasonable price if you get there early so you have a common ground meeting place. But Tampa has some other nice clubs too and it?s growing every day. So the PP had better get its act together or it may fall off the chart. |

My wife and i had a great time at the pleasure palace all i have to say we have been to them all in florida and this is the best wow and that is no lie
we had and met some new and great friends |
